Letters to My Sister: Food Storage Inventory/Planning - Made Simpler

**Hey Sista,

Another Prepping Post for you (and everyone else who will see this) ;) with more details on how much to get of what items and where! P.S. Did you see my post about making your own "Cream of  . . ." Soup mix? That is a pretty helpful prepping post, too.

Love you.

Love, Jami**

Are you overwhelmed with the beast of project that is getting a year of food stored and organized for your family? It just got simpler.

Already, storing? Awesome. Here is a helpful inventory spreadsheet I made that can help you get organized and keep track of what you already have stored (and make sure you have enough of each category for your desired length of time.) Obviously, this is customized to my own storage, but you can easily customize it to fit your needs.

Just getting started? I'm so glad you recognize the need to be prepared! My spreadsheet has lots of helpful hints for you. It can help you to figure out how much to buy of which products and from where.

Check it out!

Please, share any helpful comments/recommendations and/or questions you have about food storage in the comments section!

  1. I called them to ask if the unit size recommend is not big enough for my stuff, and they told me that they will upgrade me to a bigger unit for no extra charge. It gave me a peace of mind to hear that!

  2. Storage units are not the same as storage sheds, which are often installed on a person's own property and can be purchased in easy-to-assemble kits from your local home improvement store.
