I love making pizza from scratch. But, I don't really have two hours to make it for dinner every night. So, sometimes I cheat a little and just use 99-cent french bread for the base. Easy, delicious and done in about 20 minutes on 375*F. Might I suggest two ingredients to make it extra special on top? Grated Parmesan cheese (I always just buy a big bag from Costco, then freeze it - same with my pepperoni too) and Johnny's seasoning salt. I swear that stuff comes from Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. . . I'll let you fill in with the corny "makes the world taste good" line in your mind.
