German Pancakes: Fluffy Breakfast Heaven


 German Pancakes Recipe
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 TBL. Butter
  • (Optional): 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
  • (Optional): Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ground Cloves (I don't measure these, I just eyeball them. You can be about twice as generous with the cinnamon as you can with the nutmeg and cloves.)
Preheat oven to 400*F. Put butter in glass 9x13 pan, and put in oven as it is preheating. Mix all the other ingredients together in a medium bowl on high until smooth. Once butter is melted in pan - spread around on bottom and sides of pan. Pour in batter. Bake for 25-35min. or until golden brown and poofy. Serve warm with syrup (my favorite way) or with applesauce, fruit - or anything else you can think to try! :)

  1. Logan and I love pancakes and eat them way too much. I'm back on a vegan diet (except fish and eggs) So, We are trying this recipe with almond milk instead of milk and veg oil instead of butter. I'll let ya know how it turns out!
