So, here are pictures of our picture collage wall with the knobs and ribbon. We don't have pictures in all the frames yet, so you will just have to imagine them until we do, but Squire and I are pretty happy with the finished project! We also finished decorating the hutch (at least for now!) - p.s. I'm not a big hutch/tabletop decorator. And, Squire picked out our sweet coffee table reading selection - Monsterology! We are both very excited for that one. : )

  2. Well, that was quite a task. We had to buy special two-sided screws. One side could be drilled into the wall (it was a wood screw), and the other side was threaded the same as the knobs that we screwed on after the first half was already in the wall. I used hot glue to secure the ribbons on the frames, so Squire had to install each picture on the wall as if it didn't have a knob to hang from! : ) So, they are strictly visual knobs for this purpose, but if I could have attached the ribbon more securely, the knobs are pretty strong and can hold some weight. P.S. Do you see the awesome mirror you gave us on the wall by the chair and 1/2? We are working on getting a replacement mirror for it at the moment - it cracked! : ( Thank you though Sherecey. We love it!

  5. I really am impressed with your home. It looks like you two have been living there for a long time not just a few weeks. As someone said in an earlier comment you definitely have your mother's knack for designing. I especially like the monsterology book. Nice one Squire!
